The mission of Misfit Wellness is to make our clients feel powerful, athletic, and capable in their bodies and minds. We serve people who don’t fit the mold by taking a customized approach to programming and progression, by focusing on performance over aesthetics, and by accepting each client as they are and for who they want to be.
Your Rights
Misfit Wellness works to ensure its athletes the following rights:
To feel safe as an individual in the Misfit Wellness gym and at all Misfit Wellness events.
To feel empowered as an individual.
To dedicated care and support in developing individual goals.
To communicate any needs, concerns, or boundaries without judgment or explanation.
To excuse oneself from any situation that is physically or emotionally uncomfortable or unsafe, without judgment or explanation.
To speak to Misfit Wellness leadership regarding behavior by any person that an athlete feels infringes on their rights, without fear of physical, emotional, or reputational retaliation.
Misfit Wellness does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, class, religion, age, or any other characteristic protected by law. Misfit Wellness is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive environment for all people. Misfit Wellness does not retaliate against individuals who advocate and protect themselves from harm or instances of discrimination or harassment. Misfit Wellness is committed to promptly and equitably investigating any reports of misconduct to address and work to resolve any problem that may arise.
